The New Residences at Lagunita Court

Project Description

The New Residences at Lagunita Court will be two new undergraduate residences in the Lagunita Court complex, each with adjoining resident fellow (RF) residences. Both new buildings will be four-class residences, each providing beds for 109 (total 218) undergraduate students in one-room singles, traditional doubles and two-room doubles. The development will be approximately 77,600 GSF total located in three stories above grade, with a partial basement level for services. The scope includes two new RF residences, appropriate program space, shared gender-neutral restrooms, furnishings, finishes, kitchenette and laundry room. A large lounge with adjoining kitchenette and exterior patio will provide an ideal setting for social gatherings and academic activities. Study spaces, seminar rooms, and a computer cluster/group-learning space with standard supportive technologies will provide further collaborative spaces for students to study and socialize.

Along with Naranja, Adelfa, Ujamaa-A, Eucalipto, Ujamaa-B, Granada and the Dining Commons, the new residence halls will complete the Lagunita Court Community of undergraduate residences.
