Council Appointment Advisory Commission
(Previously the Project Diversity Screening Committee)

Duties
As established by Council Action the Committee reviews all applications submitted to the Office of the City Clerk, interviews applicants and makes recommendations to Council as it relates to appointments to Boards and Commissions.

Relationships
The Committee is advisory to the City Council.

Members
11 members - 4 year terms

Qualifications
Must be a resident of the City of San Jose and nominated by the Mayor or a Councilmember.

Meetings
The Committee meets Quarterly in February, May, September, and November on the 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 p.m, City Hall, Room T-1446.  May meet more often, depending on need.

Appointment Process
The Mayor and City Council each appoint one member to the Commission.
