Crosscultural anthropological perspectives on human behavior, including cultural transmission, social organization, sex and gender, culture change, technology, war, ritual, and related topics. Case studies illustrating the principles of the cultural process. Films.

  • Only graduate students may register for ANTHRO 101S. All other students must register for ANTHRO 1S.
  • Students can choose to take this course for 3 or 5 units. Those who enroll in the course for less than the maximum unit count will have reduced classwork proportional to the amount of units chosen.
