Captain Rob Johnson holds aspiring firefighter Joseph Estes of Menlo Park at the 15th annual Pancake Breakfast. 1,000 attendees enjoyed pancakes and fire safety demonstrations at the event at the Menlo Park Fire District Headquarters on October 3, cosponsored by the Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula. The event raised $14,000 to benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, to provide needed programs for burn survivors in California.
