Honoring National Women in Construction Week
FRESNO, Calif. – In recognition of National Women in Construction Week, the California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) is honoring the women who are working to build the nation’s first high-speed rail program in the Central Valley. COURT RULING: Court confirms High-Speed Rail is meeting system requirements
SACRAMENTO, Calif.– A key ruling was made and released this morning in the case John Tos, Aaron Fukuda and County of Kings v. California High-Speed Rail Authority .
Sacramento Superior Court Judge Michael Kenny issued his ruling this morning denying the plaintiffs' petition and complaint that the high-speed rail project as proposed does not meet the requirements of the voter-approved Proposition 1A Bond Act.
"Today's ruling confirms that we are indeed delivering a fast, modern and environmentally-friendly high-speed rail system that meets the voter-approved requirements under Proposition 1A. This five-year lawsuit wasted taxpayer dollars and delayed implementation, but we are moving forward and redoubling our efforts to build this transformative, job-creating investment in California's future," said Board Chairman Dan Richard.

WHITE HOUSE: California High-Speed Rail Authority part of $2 Billion in New Private Sector Investments to Protect Natural Resources
WASHINGTON D.C. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority is contributing $200 million for mitigation and conservation as part of the $2 Billion investment to protect natural resources. The announcement was made Monday (3/7) at the White House Conservation Roundtable.
