Caltrain serves dozens of stations between San Francisco and Gilroy* on weekdays. Caltrain is a proof-of-purchase system. Passengers must have a valid ticket before boarding the train and must show their ticket to a conductor or fare inspector upon request. Those without a valid ticket may be cited and fined. Tickets aren't sold on the train. Caltrain makes it easy for customers to recycle at its stations. * Weekday commute-hour service only between San Jose Diridon and Gilroy. |
