Berkeley Redevelopment Agency Board 

Pursuant to state legislation, AB 1X 26, The Berkeley Redevelopment Agency is dissolved and there are two new entities that oversee Berkeley's redevelopment assets.  The City Council now serves as the Successor Agency to the RDA.  Meeting information for the Successor Agency may be found on the Successor Agency Agendas page.  In addition, a new Oversight Board has been created to oversee the activities of the Successor Agency.  For information on meeting agendas of the Oversight Board, please see the following link - Oversight Board Agendas. 

The elected City Council meets as the Redevelopment Agency.  Plans and carries out redevelopment projects. Borrows money, buys and sells land, and enters into contracts for public improvements.

The Berkeley Redevelopment Agency has been dissolved and no longer holds meetings.

Live Broadcast/Web Video Streaming 

• Regular Redevelopment Agency meetings are broadcast live by Radio Station KPFB, 89.3 FM and Cable B-TV – Channel 33.  Rebroadcasts air on Channel 33 the following Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m. 

• All meetings of the Redevelopment Agency held in the Council Chambers will be web streamed live beginning in January 2003.  The live webcast will only function while the meeting is occurring.  (View the meeting calendar). ePackets 

• Electronic copies of the Agenda/Annotated Agenda ePackets for the Redevelopment Agency are available beginning in July 2002.  The ePackets provide links to the complete Reports for each item, including attachments and exhibits, and are accessible by selecting the appropriate meeting listed below.  Although still in the pilot phase, we encourage you to utilize the ePackets, and forward your comments, questions or suggestions to the City Clerk Department, (510) 981-6900, clerk@CityofBerkeley.info. 

• Beginning in 2003, adopted Resolutions will be available, as soon as they are finalized, via Records Online.
