Preliminary Matters
Roll Call
Public Comment: A total of 30 minutes is scheduled. Each speaker is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes.
Agency Action: The Redevelopment Agency may take action related to any subject listed on the Agenda.
Consent Calendar
The Agency will consider removal and addition of items to the Consent Calendar prior to voting on the Consent Calendar. All items remaining on the Consent Calendar will be approved in one motion. Items removed from the Consent Calendar will be taken up after the "Action Calendar" unless the Agency reorders the agenda.

Recommendation: Approve the minutes for Agency meetings of June 22, 2004 (regular).

2. Contract: West Berkeley Rail Stop and Transit Plaza (PDF, 916 KB)
From: Executive Officer
Recommendation: Adopt a Resolution: 1) approving plans and specifications for the West Berkeley Rail Stop and Transit Plaza Project; 2) attesting that the relevant requirements of Section 334455 of California Redevelopment Law have been met; and 3) authorizing the Executive Officer to execute a contract and any amendments with J.A. Gonsalves & Son to complete the project within 95 working days in an amount not to exceed $2,406,484 which includes a 10% contingency for unforeseen circumstances.
Financial Implications: Redevelopment Fund – $1,393,484; Caltrans Grant Funds – $1,013,000.
