Welcome to the website of Councilmember Darryl Moore, who represents City Council District 2 in the City of Berkeley, CA.
District 2 spans from University to the southern border and from Sacramento (with some slight jogs at the north and south end) to the Bay. District 2 is a very eclectic part of Berkeley, with a multitude of different uses that make it an extremely diverse and interesting place, but also creates some unique challenges. District 2 is also the only Council district in Berkeley that borders two other cities, Emeryville and Oakland. We are also home to some of the finest gems in Berkeley's park system, with the city's largest, Aquatic Park, and the City's oldest, San Pablo Park, both residing in District 2. Rosa Parks Elementary is the only Berkeley public school in our district and is our pride and joy. As a major part of West Berkeley, District 2 is also a major anchor for the East Bay Green Corridor, home to a wealth of businesses that are providing green collar jobs. Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you find it useful.
