The Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation, which opened in February 2006, is a 75,000 square foot recreation facility for students, faculty and staff. It includes a 11,000 square foot fitness room with weight machines and cardio equipment, the Erickson Family Courts (three full length basketball courts), the Whiting Family Climbing Wall, seven squash courts, including one glass competition court, the Fencing Center, which is home to Stanford's Fencing team, and a 3,600 square foot studio used for yoga, Tae Kwan Do, wrestling and other activities. Also located in the building for use by Stanford's varsity intercollegiate athletes are the Lacob Family Sports Medicine and Human Performance Center, and Rosenberg Academic Resource Center. For ticket information, please contact the Stanford Athletic Ticket Office at: Office Hours: Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunken Diamond Ticket Office is located on the north side of the stadium and is available for game-day tickets only. Ticket windows open one hour prior to game time. The fixed seating capacity of Sunken Diamond is 2,113. With the addition of disabled seating and general admission lawn seating, the total seating capacity of the facility is 4,000. The fixed seating in the facility is individual 20 to 22-inch wide theater-style seats. Grass lawns with available eating are located along 1st and 3rd base sides. Sunken Diamond has reserved and general admission seats for guests with disabilities in a variety of locations. Reserved seats are located along the upper and lower walkways. General admission disabled seats are located next to the 1st and 3rd base lawns. The Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation is located off of Campus Drive between Koret Foundation Plaza and Taube South. The main entrance is on the south side of building off of Ford Plaza. The Varsity Lot is accessible from Nelson Road off of Galvez Street and the Visitor Center Lot is accessible off of Galvez Street adjacent to the Visitor Center. |
