  • “I feel privileged to have parents entrust their child's cardiac health to me.”

Each patient is different, so I make sure to personalize the experience for families. Parents can sometimes feel vulnerable when bringing their child to a cardiology appointment; giving them information in a balanced and objective manner can go a long way in calming both parent and child. I believe information is critical to making empowered decisions and I strive to provide the most complete, comprehensive answers to the parents and patient I care for. I feel very privileged to have parents entrust their child's cardiac health to me.

One of the things I like best about cardiology is the continuity of care I often have with patients from a fetus until they are off to college. That's a significant amount of time I get to connect with my patients and their families through all the ups and downs in their lives.

There are many memorable moments in my career, but the best are always seeing the smiles on children's faces.
