Kenneth Cox, MD

  • Kenneth L Cox
  • “My approach to care is a family-centered one.”

Growing up on a farm in rural Washington, I idolized our family practitioner. I wanted to be just like him, providing care to everyone in our community no matter what their resources were. That is the foundation of who I am today. The aspect of caring that is what led me into healthcare.

I went into my specialty of gastroenterology because at the time there were few specialists working in that area. I have been practicing for almost 40 years now. One of the most important things for me is being the best at what I do, for the benefit of patients. This hospital allows me to provide the absolute best in care for my patients. As a person involved with liver transplant, I can say with confidence that we have the best program in the United States.
