Seth Ammerman, MD

  • Seth D Ammerman
  • “I focus on my patients strengths.”

As a specialist in adolescent medicine, I think it's important to take a comprehensive approach to my patients' health care. Listening to them with respect and truly being interested in their well-being helps us to bond. I focus on my patients' strengths; I strongly believe that strength builds strength and success breeds success.

My dad was a physician and loved his work. He was a big influence on me. I also had a wonderful pediatrician growing up who was a great role model. In medical school I had my first exposure to adolescent health care, and really enjoyed the various aspects of that field. From that point on I focused on working with adolescents, particularly those who are underserved and at-risk, as well as adolescents with eating disorders. I really believe that I can have a positive influence on my patients. With my help and support, even kids who are dealing with difficult issues can do well and thrive.
