Hydrocephalus

Most children’s hospitals provide a reliable, standard treatment for hydrocephalus. But at Stanford Children's Health, a newer, safer and more effective treatment is available. This animation spotlights the difference between the shunting technique and ETV, or “endoscopic third ventriculostomy”, a new procedure that reduces the risks associated with a shunt and gives each child the best opportunity for a healthy and active life.
