1. Location
Tip The
Cecil H. Green Library (East Wing) is located at 557 Escondido Mall. It is directly across from the Meyer
Library and is adjoining the Bing Wing (Green Library West). 2. Use/Purpose Green
Library (East Wing) is
the largest Stanford University library and contains collections in the
humanities, social sciences, area studies, and interdisciplinary
areas. 3rd

Green East Stacks. 3. Accessible Entrance The
main entrance, equipped with a power-operated door, is accessible via a ramp
adjacent to the stairs (near Coupa Café. Green Library (East Wing) is also
accessible via the basement, 1st, and 2nd floors of the
Bing Wing (Green Library West). Once inside the main entrance of Green
Library (East), the elevator is located ahead and to the right and provides
access to all floors (B, 1, 2, 3). 4. Restrooms Wheelchair
accessible men's and women's restrooms are located on all levels (B, 1, 2,
3). Once off the elevator, turn
right and the restrooms are located on the right side (across from the entrance
to the Bing Wing). 5. Parking &
Transportation There
is a limited amount of disabled parking along Crothers Way. Additional disabled parking is located
on the Oval. The closest Marguerite
shuttle stop is located on Serra Mall, near the Art Gallery. 6.
Points of Interest Visit the Albert M. Bender Room, located
on the 5th floor of the Bing Wing. This space offers wonderful views of the
Main Quad and the hills beyond the campus.
There is also comfortable seating and a quiet atmosphere for study,
leisure reading, and reflection. |
