Hillel at Stanford is the place at Stanford to celebrate and explore your Jewish identity. Whether you wrap teffilin every morning, or you have no idea what teffilin is, you are welcome at Hillel. Friday Night Shabbat:  We celebrate Shabbat every week at Hillel at Stanford. Free dinner, pluralistic environment, multiple service options, open to everyone. RSVP by Thursday here. Holidays: Hillel has a lot of fun holiday programs, from Chanukah-in-the-Dorms to a mystical Tu B’Shevat seder. If you’re excited about planning a particular holiday, please contact Coraal Cohen at coraal@stanford.edu

Beit Midrash: Hillel has a wonderful selection of weekly learning opportunities. Shifra Elman leads an illuminating group discussion on the Torah Portion of the Week—open to everyone, beginners welcome and encouraged. There will also be a selection of classes taught on Thursday nights by other Hillel staff and visiting scholars. Watch the Hillel web calendar for details. Kosher Dining: Kosher dining is available Monday through Wednesday at FloMo dining hall and Friday night at Hillel. Meals are cooked in Hillel’s kosher kitchen in Koret Pavilion, under Vad supervison. There are often leftovers available in Hillel’s Taube kitchen, which is also kosher, and open to students at all times. Sign up for Kosher Dining

Maimonides Fellowship: Students participate in 2.5 – 3 hours per week of in depth Jewish learning with Rabbi Kamin.  This is an opportunity to explore traditional Judaism in a dynamic environment. Students are introduced to classical Jewish philosophy, the relevance of Jewish wisdom to contemporary issues.  Contact Rabbi Kamin at rabbik@stanford.edu
