gave their ultimate sacrifice know that their sacrifice is greatly appreciated and that
they are all truly lived and missed. At a time in the near future we will all be reunited
in spirit. God bless you all. I was in Mike's class at BHS. I can recall the shock and sadness I
felt when I learned he had died in Viet Nam. am looking at all hares trying to find distant relatives I was a classmate of Mike's at Berkeley high school. We shared some
classes together and had a good time before and after classes. Mike was with us for too
short a time. He is remembered and missed by many. I was trying to search for Civil War Vets, looking for a James Knox
Hare, and the search matched the James and the Hare. Family of Michael James Hare, I am
researching Hares from the Marysville area from about the 1860-on. If your grandfather or
greatgrandfather etc, lived near Marysville, Ca during that time, we are distant cousins.
Respond if you'd like, we know very little about other branches of Hares. This is very good place.Great job done.Keep on working this way. Zinka <Zinka@hotbot.com> Rest in peace, bro- From a fellow ex-marine and Nam Vet I remember Michael from public Speaking class, Mr. Ehlers... I also
remember the awesome football player and genuine nice guy. Michael was a "bright
light" in life. I am greatful for his sacrifice to this county. May he rest in peace.
I will always carry his memory with me. Sincerely, Terry Brownlo Semper Fi, Devil Dog. Thank you for your service to your country. You are not forgotten.
Rest in peace. rest in peace I many happy, funny memories of being your cousin. You'll always be a
smiling, handsome young man in my memory. I remember the tour of Berkeley you gave me in
1964, our last time together that I can remember. I hope you'll give me a tour when I get
where you are. I miss you. I knew Mike from Berkeley through Jeff Shaeffer, the Athenians, and
football. I played center the year after him. He helped prepare our junior team for a
championship season the next year. I joined the Eunoias but was impressed by Mike during
