World University Games Wrap-Up

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford's Kyle Dagostino and Kevin Rakestraw wrapped-up the 2015 World University Games with the United States last week with a five-set win over Australia (32-30, 24-26, 22-25, 25-20, 15-11) in South Korea.

The U.S. team finished the 20-team tournament in 17th place with a 4-2 record.

In its second five-set victory over Australia, the U.S. led in kills (61-59), blocks (13-9), aces (11-8) and digs (8-5).

Playing libero for the U.S., Dagostino was credited with the most digs of any player with six. Rakestraw tallied seven points in the win.
