STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford women’s rowing will travel to Lowell, Ore. to compete in the fourth annual Oregon State Classic Saturday at Dexter Lake.

The Cardinal joins fellow Pac-12 competitors Oregon State, Oregon and Washington, along with Central Florida, Oklahoma and Seattle Pacific in the seven-team regatta.

Stanford enters the weekend ranked sixth in the USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll, joining Washington (eighth) in this week’s rankings.

Stanford will field three boats in the event, with each boat racing once in the morning and once during the afternoon session.

The Cardinal will go head-to-head with Washington in a dual during the morning session. The varsity four race is first at 9:45 a.m. PT, followed by the second varsity eight race at 10:15 a.m. PT and the varsity eight race against the Huskies at 10:45 a.m. PT.

Five of the schools will square off during an exciting afternoon session as Stanford will face Oregon State, UCF, Oklahoma and Washington in the varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four beginning at 3 p.m. PT.

The Cardinal is coming off a successful weekend at the Pac-12 Challenge, where it captured five of its seven races on the Redwood Shores course. Stanford defeated No. 20 Duke by open water in the varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four. The Cardinal won two of five duals against No. 2 California, earning the victory in the varsity four and second varsity four.

Following the Oregon State Classic, Stanford will head to the Lake Natoma Invitational in Gold River, Calif., April 16-17, before a rematch against California in the Big Row on April 30 at Redwood Shores.
