Cindy Yu

Cindy Yu is an Audit Manager in the Office of Audit, Compliance and Privacy. She joined the department in August 2010 and performs financial, operational and compliance audits for Stanford Medicine (School of Medicine, Stanford Health Care, and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital/Stanford Children’s Health). Prior to joining Stanford, Cindy was a Lead Auditor at Blue Shield of California in San Francisco.

Cindy has over 23 years of public accounting, finance, and auditing experience in various industries, including healthcare, airports, marine terminals, entrepreneurial companies and non-profits. Her responsibilities include financial, operational, and compliance assignments, system implementation activities, and special management request/advisory projects. 

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). She is a member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA).
