Gary Wong

Gary Wong is a Senior Auditor at Stanford University’s Office of Audit, Compliance, and Privacy. His responsibilities include planning and conducting financial, operational, compliance, and follow-up audits throughout the University. He joined the department in March 2015.

Prior to joining Stanford, Mr. Wong was a Senior Revenue Analyst at JDS Uniphase with responsibilities in the application of technical revenue guidance related to multiple element arrangements. Before working in industry, he spent 7 years in public accounting and consulting doing financial & IT audits gaining experience in various industries; including software, biotech, hardware, SaaS, broker dealers, and non-profit organization.

Mr. Wong holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Statistics from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
