Craig W. Weiss is a California born photographer who has been the Photography Lab Manager in the Art & Art History Department at Stanford University since the spring of 2002.  He has been a professional freelance, fine art and architectural photographer and photography instructor for over 20 years.  Clients have included: New West Architecture, Century Theaters, San Francisco Examiner Magazine, CoStar - RIG Inc, SEA Architectural Consultants, American Association of Medical Colleges, John Coltrane Memorial Concerts, American Institute of Graphic Artists, The Boston Globe Magazine, Boston Magazine, The Art Institute of Boston, Northeastern University & Harvard University.

During the summer of 2013 he completed the final shooting phase of a 5-year, black & white photography book project documenting Route 20 (the longest US road - a 3,365 mile cross-country route which extends from Boston, MA to Newport, OR) with New England photographer Mike Boucher.  The final three-week, 5,005 mile journey took them from the SF Bay Area, north to Newport, OR then east to Douglas, WY and back.  The target completion date for the book and gallery exhibition is the summer of 2016.
