Dan has been at Stanford since 2007. Previously, he was the manager of the Sculpture and Ceramic Sculpture departments at the San Francisco Art Institute. Dan was also a Lecturer in the Sculpture department at San Francisco State University for 8 years. In addition to his own work in sculpture and design, Dan has been a consulting engineer on several public art installations in the Bay Area. Prior to his career in art, he was studying architecture and design while working as a chemical engineer in the Boston area.
