This interactive, hands-on workshop is for the PowerPoint presenter who is ready to take presentations to the next level. You will learn about some exciting features that will boost your basic presentation into a more meaningful method of communicating your message. We will cover personalizing your entire presentation globally by using the Slide Master feature (such as adding a company logo or changing to personalized bullets); creating your own custom Slide Master slide layout; designing a customized Table to display content in a specific arrangement on a slide; generating a flowchart using Shapes (e.g., aligning, adding content, and changing the dynamics of the shapes); using custom features to animate text and objects, adding pizzazz to your presentation; and effectively combining several slide decks into one presentation. Keyboard shortcuts will be introduced to help increase your productivity in developing your PowerPoint presentations. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned several techniques for developing and delivering presentations that will enhance your skills and keep your audience engaged.

Students must have a working knowledge of PowerPoint and are required to bring a laptop computer to class. Note to Mac users: Although the workshop will be taught on the Windows platform, the techniques and handouts presented will be applicable to the Mac platform as well.

Due to its short format, this workshop may not be taken for Credit or a Letter Grade.
