ICME Xtend took place on the Stanford Campus November 6 & 7, 2014. The inaugural event of what will be an annual happening in ICME, Xtend 2014 included 221 total interviews in one day, taking place between 71 participating students and 14 companies and 3 national laboratories. Xtend 2014 also included short courses taught by ICME students and alumni; demonstrations of the HIVE visualization center; a keynote by Dean Persis Drell; faculty and industry panels; and social events during which our students, alumni, Educational Affiliates, and faculty connected with one another on a wide range of topics. Did we mention the weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, and there was also a live band?
ICME extends a huge Thank You to all who participated and helped to make Xtend such a wonderful success.
