Human Resources Manager

School of Medicine

Although she grew up in the area, Cindy Cho didn’t realize the wealth of opportunities Stanford offers employees until she started working at the university four years ago.

“I love going to Cantor and seeing new exhibits,” says Cindy. “There are many different lectures and discussions available to employees and I can take classes at night taught by Stanford faculty.” Cindy, a human resources manager, also participates in staff groups on campus, which helps her meet people outside her field of work and makes the campus feel smaller.

When it comes to her career, Cindy says she feels equally as rewarded with an abundance of support, resources and training that allow her to succeed. “Stanford provides opportunities for staff to enrich their personal lives and professional careers, resulting in happy, well-rounded employees,” said Cindy.

Cindy says the diversity on campus keeps her job interesting. “I like the variety of people I meet in my work from our staff to our faculty and students,” she says. “There’s always something new and different every day.”
