MCS is a multidisciplinary major sponsored by Stanford's Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Science & Engineering and Statistics, providing students with a core of mathematics basic to all mathematical sciences.
- Students must earn a minimum GPA of 2.0 in all courses towards the major in order to graduate.
- All courses must be taken for a letter grade, if offered

Choose three courses in MCS at the 100-level or above, at least 3 units each from two different departments. At least one must be from the list of approved electives.
