The Video Codec Maintenance service provides software upgrade support for Cisco and Polycom video conferencing codecs. Maintaining codec software is critical in reducing security vulnerabilities, providing additional features and functionality, and addressing software bugs. This service is required for clients of the Turnkey System service, and also available to clients who have purchased their own video codecs, but would like them professionally maintained by University IT's engineers. Systems must also be registered with University IT's video conferencing call control infrastructure. Two options of the Video Codec Maintenance service are available: codec support only, or with 24x7 phone support.
