William White grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He came to Stanford University where he received his B.S. with Honors in molecular and cellular biology. He received his M.A. in the history of science and medicine from Stanford.
William is currently a medical student at Stanford Medical School pursuing the bioethics and medical humanities scholarly concentration. His current historical project looks at the connection between animal experiments and tobacco science. He is also the ultrasound coordinator for Pacific Free Clinic and is interested in ultrasound education.
William joined LGBT MERG in the winter of 2008 and has been an active member ever since. He is currently the treasurer, a researcher, and a statistician in MERG.
When not studying or working on research, William likes to hike, read, watch films, and play video games.
