A: Petopia is the first multi-rescue pet adoption center located in a major mall. Supported 100% by pet lover donations not tax dollars. Petopia offers a positive no-kill solution to pet over-population and an alternative to pet store puppies and kittens.

Q: What kinds of cats are at Petopia?
A: The dogs and cats at Petopia are rescued from high-kill shelters in the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles area. They may come to Petopia hurt; sick, scared or abandoned where they are nursed or rehabilitated back to health.

Q: How many kittens are in this room?
A: It is kitten season in Southern California that means we are running at all time high with an overpopulation of kittens. There are two rooms that are linked together so you may see 50 different kittens from 15 litters.

Q: How old are the kittens in this room?
A: The kitten in this room range in age from 8 weeks to 12 weeks.

Q. How do I adopt one of these kittens?
A: To adopt a pet from Petopia you first need to fill out a questionnaire, so that the pet that you are matched with is the right pet for you. The animal version of a animal relationship service or Kitty Harmony. There is a subsequent interview process, a home check and an adoption fee.
