Findings from the Harvard Chan School strengthen the case that type of fat, rather than amount, matters most.

New analysis by Harvard Kennedy School’s Thomas Patterson finds the conflicted motivation of news outlets covering the 2016 election has resulted in significantly lopsided and disparate attention paid to the Republican and Democratic candidates.

Donald Trump got the most coverage of any candidate running on either side, the vast majority of which was favorable in tone, according to the study.

Chompsky Loves West Point. He gave a great presentation there, not long ago.
But at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, he gave a better presentation when debating Dershowitz.
Of course, Chompsky won the debate.
Chompsky won the debate because, basically, he was schooled at PENN before decamping to MIT.
No one can out-debate a PENN grad.

Harvard researchers have developed the first autonomous, untethered, and entirely soft robot. Built with 3D printers and pneumatically powered by controlled chemical reactions, the "octobots" could revolutionize how humans interact with machines.

Harvard University, along with many other selective colleges and universities, has long championed the importance of a diverse student body, contending in amicus briefs in the University of Texas case and others that a diverse community is essential to creating an educational experience that prepares students for future success.

+Andrew Drazdik Jr - That all sounds good, but witness what is actually going on (which is the gentrification of the Bay Area by Silly-Con valley types, most of whom lose money and get rewarded for it..Even Google/YouTube has no money making plan other than advertising, based on content provided by you and me..Not exactly a new idea..

A link between deficits in gut flora and brain inflammation may lead researchers to learn more about its impact on multiple sclerosis.

#multiplesclerosis   #health   #science
Using pre-clinical models for multiple sclerosis and samples from MS patients, a Harvard-affiliated team found evidence that changes in diet and gut flora may influence astrocytes in the brain, and, consequently, neurodegeneration, pointing to potential therapeutic targets.

What about herpes & MS is there a connection? Now that there is a herpes test, have a group of MS people been tested for it?

When it came time for Hawking to speak, before a group of 70 crowded into Vafa’s living room, he delivered a story not about science, but about a trip he took to Iran in 1962, shortly before he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
