Event Services provides moving services for offices and departments. We typically move furniture, books, computers and medical equipment.

Event Services can coordinate complicated moves, handling of large and sensitive instruments.
Please include as much detail as possible in your request and Event Services will follow up with you to ensure the move goes smoothly.
Understanding our moving services
- Move Office, Materials: We have special equipment for moving desks, furniture, books and other materials.

Moving Boxes: Convenient for packing books and desk materials. Easily 'pop' together, without the need for tape. Size: 1.5 Cubic Foot Dimensions: 16 inches x 12 inches x12 inches high. $2 per box.
- Trucks and Forklifts: We have a fleet of trucks of various sizes and forklifts for bigger jobs.
Event Services no longer handles moves to Surplus Sales or Property Disposal to PSSI
Moving to Surplus Sales
Follow the instructions below to arrange for pick-up of your surplus property for delivery to Surplus.
The Department Property Administrator for your department should submit an Excess Request. (Look up your DPA) Surplus will schedule the collection of the material. Large quantities or heavy bulky items may require involvement of a third party mover, which Surplus will coordinate for you. Only if such additional assistance is necessary will costs be passed through via journal. Disposal to PSSI
Follow the instructions below to arrange for pick-up of your disposed property for delivery to PSSI.
