People and artifacts have intimately connected Stanford University to the Pacific world since the late 19th century. The exhibit Pacific Links: Currents of Material Connections showcases some of these influential things in their cultural and collecting contexts. Each ethnographic artifact and tourist souvenir has, in its own ways, dynamically shaped relationships of people, things, and settings across the Pacific. This exhibit is curated by students in the spring 2017 course Museum Cultures.
