3rd Annual Stanford Microbiome Summit

The Stanford Center for Human Microbiome Studies is pleased to announce the Third Annual Stanford Microbiome Summit. This one-day conference aims to foster collaboration and build a local community within microbiome academic laboratories across Stanford campus and the Bay Area. This highly interactive meeting will feature talks, panel discussions, and a poster session and provide a platform to discuss recent advances, current challenges, and new methods to understand our microbial world. By spanning multiple scales, ecological environments, and hosts, we bring together experts in environmental microbiology, human health, and new approaches to microbiome research.

Speakers and panelists will be: Ami Bhatt, Josh Elias, Michael Fischbach, Tad Fukami, Aida Habtezion, Susan Holmes, KC Huang, Britt Koskella, Kabir Peay, Katie Pollard, David Relman, Tiffany Scharschmidt, and Justin Sonnenburg.
