Join us for a discussion of teaching careers for humanists at a variety of institutions, including public and private high schools, community colleges, and large public universities. Learn about Stanford resources to help you launch your search, including
- Preparing Future Professors, a faculty shadowing program at Bay Area community colleges and state schools
- The Stanford Teacher Education Program (STEP), a renowned certification course for public high school teachers
- Education 405, “Teaching the Humanities,” a winter quarter seminar that explores what it is like to teach the humanities in a variety of institutions
This event is part of Pathways for Humanities PhDs, a professional development workshop sponsored by the School of Humanities and Sciences.
