Joel C. Peterson Between 1973 and 1991, Joel Peterson was Treasurer, CFO and CEO of Trammell Crow Company, the then-largest private real estate development firm in the world. In 1995, he founded Peterson Partners to provide growth and buyout capital to entrepreneurs with solid business plans, strong management teams and track records of success. Mr. Peterson is a Consulting Professor at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University where he has taught courses in real estate, entrepreneurship and leadership since 1992. He has served on the Advisory Board to the GSB, as a Faculty Director at Stanfordâ??s Center for Leadership Development and Research, as a member of the Deanâ??s Advisory Group, and as an Overseer at Stanford's Hoover Institution. Mr. Peterson is currently Chairman of the Board at JetBlue Airways, and on the boards of Franklin Covey, Packsize, Bonobos, Ladder Capital Finance and Integra. Over the past 35 years, he has served on dozens of public and private boards. He was valedictorian and Studentbody President at his undergraduate institution, Brigham Young University, and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1973. Mr. Peterson has been married for 39 years and has seven children and fifteen grandchildren.
