Preservation welcomes Annemaree Rea

This month Collection Care welcomes a new team member, Annemaree Rea, to the position of Collection Care Specialist. In her new position, Annemaree will handle circulating collection repair and housing, support environmental monitoring for library collection spaces, assist with the Integrated Pest Management program, and maintain the Collection Emergency Response plan.

Annemaree brings a strong background in book repair to the unit, most recently working in Conservation Services as the Book Repair Technician. She has a BA degree from Columbia College Chicago where she studied bookbinding and printmaking. She has continued her bookbinding education at the San Francisco Center for the Book.
