Hormel Foods Corporation has announced the sale of Clougherty Packing to Smithfield Foods. Clougherty Packing is the parent company of Farmer John and Saag’s Specialty Meats. The sale also includes PFFJ farm operations in California, Arizona and Wyoming. Sabra Recalls Hummus Products

Sabra Dipping Co. has voluntarily recalled certain hummus products due to Listeria monocytogenes being found at the manufacturing facility. There has been no Listeria found in tested, finished products. The recall includes hummus products manufactured before Nov. 8, 2016 and distributed to retail outlets in the U.S. and Canada. Any product with a “Best Before” date through Jan. 23, 2017 should be discarded. Other Sabra products are not included in the recall. Unaffected products include Sabra Organic Hummus, Sabra Salsa, Sabra Guacamole and Sabra Greek Yogurt Dips. The astronaut Tim Peake officially opened Thales’ Space Propulsion Integration Centre in Belfast today.
