Long-term on-campus housing is generally not provided to postdoctoral scholars, but temporary on-campus housing during the summer may be available.
- Stanford West - postdoctoral scholars have priority at this apartment complex which is located next to campus on Sand Hill Rd.
- Stanford University Postdoc Association (SURPAS) - hosts an email list that includes housing announcements.
- Bechtel International Center Bulletin Board - has a bulletin board in their building for landlords renting and renters looking for roommates (shared housing) to post their information.

Several types of temporary accommodations might be available to you while you search for housing:
- Stanford University Summer Conference Services - rents out guest-rooms in the student residences during the summer quarter to Stanford affiliates.
- Stanford University Student Housing - lists recommended local hotels and motels surrounding Stanford.
- Stanford Guest House - Stanford run hotel on the SLAC campus.
- SUPost.com - may have short term rental listings
- Airbnb.com - offers short term rentals
