Sanjay V. Malhotra, Ph.D, B.L.V. Prasad, and Jordi Fraxedas published the book, Molecular Materials: Preparation, Characterization, and Applications.
The book, Molecular Materials: Preparation, Characterization, and Applications, discusses interdisciplinary research in areas of advanace molecular-based materials. It focuses on the preparation and characterization of potentially useful materials and explores aspects of molecular material, including their synthesis and characterization.
Iris Gibbs, MD, 2016 ELAM Fellow graduate and elected to be on board of The Radiosurgery® Society (RSS)
Iris Gibbs, MD, Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Stanford Medicine, has graduated as a fellow from the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Program for Women. The ELAM fellowship is dedicated to helping women develop the professional and personal skills required to lead and manage in today's complex health care environment, with special attention to the unique challenges facing women in leadership positions.
Dr. Gibbs has also been elected to be on the board of The Radiosurgery® Society (RSS). The RSS is a multi-disciplinary non-profit organization of surgeons, radiation oncologists, physicists, and allied professionals, who are dedicated to advancing the science and clinical practice of Radiosurgery.
Sarah S. Donaldson, MD, FASCO, named inaugural recipient of Women Who Conquer Cancer
The Conquer Cancer Foundation (CCF) will present its first annual Women Who Conquer Cancer Mentorship Award to Sarah S. Donaldson, MD, FASCO, a globally recognized pediatric radiation oncology expert, inspiring professor, and devoted mentor, during the 2016 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in June.
Lei Xing, PhD, elected to College of Fellows of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE)
The College of Fellows of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) consists of over 1,500 individuals who are the outstanding leaders, engineers, entrepreneurs, and innovators in medical and biological engineering. Fellows are nominated each year by their peers and represent the top 2% of the medical and biological engineering community. This year, Dr. Lei Xing, who is our Chief of Medical Physics, was elected as an AIMBE Fellow.
