Lab Information
Stan Cohen's lab is located in the Department of Genetics at the Stanford University School of Medicine. We study mechanisms that affect the expression and decay of normal and abnormal mRNAs, and also RNA-related mechanisms that regulate microbial antibiotic resistance. A small bioinformatics team within our lab has developed knowledge based systems to aid in investigations of genes.

There are about 10 members of the Cohen research group. Our investigations are supported by the NIH.
