Federal Advisory on Mercury in Fish and Shellfish
EPA and the Food and Drug Administration issued draft joint advice in June 2014 about the risks of eating certain fish found to have high concentrations of mercury and the benefits of eating fish as part of a healthy diet. The advice is targeted to those who are most at risk from mercury, including women who are pregnant or might become pregnant, children and nursing mothers.
