Energy Management Best Practices Industry Network: This Network offers a unique forum for organizations in New England to share, learn, and benchmark energy management best practices and to obtain feedback from peers on energy management programs. The Network seeks to improve New England industries energy management through the sharing best practices. Energy-Water Nexus: EPA Region 1 provides energy management technical assistance and training to the municipal water and wastewater sector. EPA maintains a national webpage devoted to this topic. We also host a regional webpage that provides guidance on designing contracts at water and wastewater facilities to promote energy efficiency. Independent Systems Operator (ISO) New England: Exit ISO New England is the non-profit corporation responsible for running the bulk power system in New England. Energy Regulation and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Inventories
Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI): Exit RGGI is a cooperative effort among the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont to cap and reduce CO2 emissions from the power sector. Clean Power Plan (CPP) Proposal: EPA has proposed regulations to cut carbon emission from new and existing power plants.
