Stanford Symphonic Chorus

Stephen Sano and the Stanford Symphonic Chorus in rehearsal in Memorial Church

If you love classical music and performing on stage, here is a unique opportunity to get involved with the Stanford community! The Stanford Symphonic Chorus is a 200-member mixed-voice repertory chorus open to all Stanford staff, faculty, student or affiliates and holds auditions at the start of each academic quarter. Led by Stephen Sano, chair of the Department of Music and director of Choral Studies, the chorus performs a concert each quarter and performs regularly with the Stanford Symphony Orchestra and the Peninsula Symphony Orchestra.
