Paloma Hernandez

Paloma is deeply engaged with food and agricultural justice. She is a co-director of the Stanford Food Project, where she leads meetings and teach-in's on food justice. She has also developed student-run projects to connect students to dining, faculty, and the farm. She shows her passion for the communities she lives in through providing spaces for conversation about food systems beyond the bay area. She is passionate about other environmental issues, including the advancement of low income communities and climate change action. This summer, she interned with South Central Scholars, an education and mentorship nonprofit that supports low income, high achieving students with big dreams and bright futures. Next summer, she hopes to explore her passion for environmental policy as a solution to climate change and other global environmental issues.
