The Humanities Core provides you with a structured and guided pathway into the mysteries and marvels of human experience. It introduces you to fundamental questions of value and meaning—and to the many thinkers whose answers continue to inspire us. 

By participating in these conversations, you will also develop the mental agility to weigh more than one compelling answer in your mind at once; to find your way into seemingly airtight arguments; to deepen and challenge your own commitments; and to question the very terms we use to think and argue.
