It’s time to purchase a Stanford parking permit or enroll in the Commute Club for the new fiscal year. Current parking permits and Commute Club memberships expire on Aug. 31.

If you plan to purchase a parking permit, please consider the following:

•  Receive up to $300 per year in Clean Air Cash along with other rewards if you are an eligible commuter who chooses not to purchase a long-term parking permit.
• Find others to share the ride and form a carpool or free vanpool
• Enjoy a free ‘A’-Carpool permit (premium, reserved parking!) and free vanpool with five or more eligible riders.
• Receive an additional bonus of $100, $75, $50, or $25 by participating in our Permit Non-Renewal Promotion.
•  Drive part time. Purchase daily scratcher permits for days you need to drive and still remain in the Commute Club. Check out our permit cost savings table if you were to buy eight daily permits per month instead of a long-term permit.

If you are a Commute Club member, please note:

• Commute Club memberships must be renewed each new fiscal year, which begins on Sept. 1.
•  If you forgot to enroll in the Commute Club last September or during the current fiscal year, apply by Aug. 25 to request retroactive enrollment. Refer to our Retroactive Commute Club Enrollment article for more information.

How to Apply or Enroll

• We encourage you to place your order online by Aug. 18, and select “mail” or “will call/pickup” as your delivery option. Enroll in the Commute Club or order a parking permit today.
• If you prefer to stop by our office, please note that our system will not be able to issue new permits until mid-August.
• Our hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, except university holidays. Anticipate longer lines than usual at our office in August and September.

Please note: Due to a manufacturing defect, there currently is a delay in processing 2017-18 transferable permits. Learn about your options for displaying a temporary permit if needed.

Please note that you cannot purchase a permit online or in person until our system is updated with your Autumn Quarter registration.
