Stanford’s parking permit system, with enforcement by the Department of Public Safety, helps the University manage parking demand and meet the business needs of the Stanford community.

Due to increasing demand at The Oval during extended afternoon and evening hours, all ‘A’ permit parking will extend to 6 p.m.  Please observe the following ‘A’ permit enforcement hours on The Oval as of Monday, Aug. 1:

• All ‘A’ permit parking at the Oval will be enforced from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Enforcement for ‘A-Carpool’ parking spaces will be from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. After 10 a.m., any ‘A’ permit holder may park in the ‘A-Carpool’ spaces.
• All other spaces at The Oval will continue to be enforced 24/7. These spaces include disabled placard and ‘Q’ permit spaces.

Please observe all posted signs to avoid being cited.
