University IT is Stanford's cable television service provider. Called Cardinal Cable, the service offers entertainment, sports, news, cultural programming, and educational channels.
Ordering service
To order new communication services in your apartment or to make changes to your existing services, use our online forms (order | change). For additional assistance, call 650-725-HELP, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
You can self-install your cable TV box. Please allow up to 3 to 5 business days after you submit your order to pick up your box at:
ID Card Office in Tresidder Union at 459 Lagunita Drive, 2nd Floor
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday [map]
Ending service
To disconnect your service, please use our online form. You can call 650-725-HELP, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with any questions.
When disconnecting your cable TV service, you must return your digital cable box or you will be charged a $449.95 fee for the unreturned box. Return your cable box at the ID Card Office (see above).
