It's official! The Stanford women's lacrosse team won its first NCAA Tournament game, defeating Notre dame 8-7. Megan Lerner made a crucial interception with Stanford down a goal that led to the Cardinal's game-tying seventh goal. She then claimed the ensuing draw control to give Stanford the final possession of the match. She discussed the plays and what the victory means for the program after the match.
